Flat 8 Bale Grab to fit JCB 3CX |
|||||
![]() |
|||||
Nice
grab in good order. Has not seen a lot of use. Frame is in good straight
condition – no apparent cracks or welds. Opposing tine model, so
grips the bales well. Strong well built tool complete with guide rail
– rail still has paint on it – as does mail frame. Currently
fitted with older JCB 3CX brackets. Good strong frame, so brackets could
easily be altered to fit you own loader/ teleporter. Ideal for older loader
tractors, as not overly heavy, but would work just as well on a teleporter
or forklift. Excellent labour saving tool - ready for the forthcoming
hay season and harvest! I have not tested the ram but all looks fine.
Has not been used for a little while. Pipes have been borrowed for another
job, so these will need replacing. Has had some tines replaced with stronger
ones. £SOLD. |

16ft
Mounted Spring Tine Cultivator |
|||||
![]() |
|||||
Well made tool, believed to be by Ransomes. Tines are all slightly angled compared to standard sets, to improve seed bed preparation – see pics. Will go straight to work or ideal for working events behind classic tractor. Tidy but used set - no cracks, and has not been welded etc. Triple K points and tines. Full set of tines. Few points would benefit from replacing - we have these and will endeavour to fit them before the end of the auction. If we don’t get around to it, they will be supplied with harrow. Couple of spare tines are also included in the auction. Very versatile tool. Ideal for pulling down ploughed land and creating a good seedbed prior to drilling, leveling the gateways where the horses have been, I have even herd of them being used for leveling ménages! Cat 1 and 2 linkage. Winch to assist folding of wings requires some new cable, alternatively just fold by hand or would be straightforward to convert to hydraulic fold. £250. |

Larger version in good working order. We have used in conjunction with our Wuffler and the pair work very well together. For sale as we are no longer making hay. Further pictures in action can be seen here. £175. Picture for illustration purposes only. |

9ft
Mounted Chain Harrows |
|||||
![]() |
|||||
Trailed set that has been strapped to a frame. Excellent for rejuvenating grassland, pulling out dead thatch, moss etc and generally improving the quality of the grass. Also brilliant for pulling high spots into lows (where those horses have been over the winter!) and leveling ground. Very versatile bit of kit, could also be used for harrowing in seed, fertiliser, leveling ménages, driveways, etc, etc. Harrow is a little rusty but points are like new - hasnt really had much use at all. Complete with pommel tree to convert back to trailed set if required. £220 as is. |

4ft
Rib/ Cambridge Roll |
|||||
|
|||||
| Small
rib roll ideal for use with compact, smaller hp tractor or even 4x4, 4wd
quad or Gator etc. Approx working width 4ft. Perfect for paddocks, grassland
or even on ménages. I use a pair of these on my grassland and much
prefer them to a flat roll, they do a very good job of leveling lumps
and bumps, particularly in the gateways and rolling in grass seed etc.
Also very good for breaking down ploughed land. Has clevis drawbar, but
it would be straight forward to add a 50mm ball hitch for use behind other
vehicles. Very handy size for contractors or landscape gardeners as can
leave hitched to tractor when moving on Ifor Williams type trailer, therefore
no need for loader. This price is for the front one of the pair,the other
is now sold. Roll is in good used order and will go straight to work –
I would be very happy taking it out and using it tomorrow. Rings are a
little loose, and could be tightened – but certainly not enough
to worry about and does not effect operation! £135. |

Flat 8 Bale Grab to Fit Sanderson Teleporter |

|
|||||
Nice grab in good order. Has strong Sanderson Teleporter brackets fitted - could easily be altered to fit other telehandlers or loaders. Ideal for older loader tractors, as not overly heavy, but would work just as well on a teleporter or forklift. Excellent labour saving tool. Complete with original guide rail which is in good order. Frame is also in generally good order, has had couple of minor repairs some time ago. I have not tested the ram but all looks fine – no dried or wet oil around ram. £220. |

Lawrence
Edwards Muck Fork to fit ALO Quicke 2560 Loader |
|||||
|
|||||
Manufactured
by Lawrence Edwards. Full compliment of tines, all of which tight in bottom
bar. Was removed from an ALO Quicke 2560 power loader, but would go straight
on to similar Quicke trip loaders. Could easily be altered to fit other
loaders. Will go straight to work. Well used tool, but plenty of life
left. Appears to have had a replacement bottom bar fitted. Would benefit
from some tidying and a coat of paint, depending on how much use it is
going to get! £150. |

Ferguson
Weeders x2 |
|||||
|
|||||
Both
badged, one MF, one Ferguson. I bought these some time ago with the view
of making one good one out of the two for our Ferguson collection, but
never got around to it. Having said that both would easily restore in
their own right – with some minor repairs and more tines. The one
badged MF is pretty unusual – I have never seen one before –
must have been built at the change-over before the wide spread use of
sprays. Restore for work or show. £175 the pair. Various other Ferguson
Implements from our collection available. |

Arnold
Fork Lift Lifting Jib/ Crane |
|||||
|
|||||
A
very versatile tool, ideal for wide range uses – such as handling
scaffolding, timber, machinery, or as a workshop crane. Provides approx
24in increased lift height (from top of carriage), and an extra reach
of 72in. Very strong construction, unsure of capacity – no markings
on the jib, but with a different hook fitted I would have thought that
it could handle approaching a tonne at the furthest point, and more closer
in. Jib hangs directly on carriage, and has wings to prevent sway. By
mounting on the carriage directly, rather than the tines, the load can
be carried closer in to the lift truck. Designed to fit carriage height
approx 50.5cm which I believe is the same as Sanderson telehandlers/ forklifts,
although could easily be altered to fit other loaders/ handlers. Please
note that whilst this excellent tool is in very good condition and ready
for work, it doesn’t have a lifting certificate! £135. |

3ft
Chain Harrows |
|||||
|
|||||
3ft working width, complete with pommel tree. Ideal for very small tractors. Excellent for rejuvenating grassland, pulling out dead thatch, moss etc and generally improving the quality of the grass. We did some grass with it the other weekend – see pics. Also brilliant for pulling high spots into lows (where those horses have been over the winter!) and leveling ground. Very versatile bit of kit, could also be used for harrowing in seed, fertiliser, leveling ménages, driveways, etc, etc. Used condition but plenty of life left – see pics. Pommel tree has rusted through in one spot – but perfectly usable. Currently has some rope to tow the pommeltree – this could easily be replaced if purchaser desired. £120. |

Massey
Ferguson Beet/ Log Bucket |
|||||
|
|||||
Lighter duty Massey Ferguson bucket, which we believed was originally fitted to a MF40 trip loader, but has been converted to fit MF40 and MF75 power loaders. Brackets could easily altered to fit other loaders. Ideal for use on smaller tractors – was last used on a two-wheel drive MF575. Ideal for sugar beet, fodder beet, potatoes etc etc. Excellent for muck as you can handle a lot more in one go compared to a standard muck fork, and it doesn’t stick to it like it would a bucket. Also very good for logs, as it can let the rubbish and saw dust fall through, to leave a cleaner load of logs. Would also be good for handling light rubble, as wouldn’t pick up the dust etc. Could be modified to make a cheap riddle bucket for use on a 360 degree machine. Approx working width 55in. Has been well used in the past, but plenty of life left. Has had a few repairs and currently has a couple of small cracks – easy straightforward repair if need be, but would go straight to work as is. £SOLD. |

6ft
Menage/ Sand School/ Arena Leveller |
|||||
|
|||||
Well built basic tool which could easily be pulled by quad or compact (or even garden) tractor. Approx 6ft working width. Ideal for ménages, sand schools, arenas etc etc, I would have thought that it would work on most surfaces, including gravel drives etc. Has not had a lot of use. £165. |

Rear
Loader & Muck Fork |
|||||
![]() |
|||||
| Good
strong machine, with large powerful ram. Doesn’t appear to have
had a lot of work. No repairs/ welds to frame, and pins are all good and
tight, also has had a coat of paint not so long ago. Very handy bit of
kit, as unlike a front loader, this adds a great deal of traction to rear
wheels when in use. Also the loader is quite compact compared to a front
loader, making it ideal for working in tight spaces and buildings. Has
parking stand so it can easily be attached and removed from the tractor
in minutes when not in use, allowing tractor to be used for other jobs.
Will fit cat 1 & 2 linkage. Currently has female part of quick attached
A-Frame fitted (only secured by one pin), but also has top link that is
adjustable to suit different tractors. Complete with trip muck fork and
trip mechanism which is easily operated from the tractor seat. Fork is
very solid, with good tines. By removing a couple of the tines (leaving
the outer two) could easily be converted into a rear mounted bale spike
– unlike normal linkage mounted bale spikes, it would have the advantage
of being able to stack bales or put them into ring feeders etc. My Fergy
20 would operate with no problems, although would probably want a slightly
bigger tractor if you are lifting weight. Muck fork could be changed for
pallet forks, bucket etc., as easily removed with two pins. I have not
tested the ram, but all looks in good order. £265. |

9ft
Seed/ Grass Harrows |
|||||
![]() |
|||||
Ideal
for grassland, I use a set and find they do a much better job than chain
harrows. Brilliant for leveling and rejuvenating grassland where horses/
cattle have been, spreading droppings, pulling out dead thatch etc etc.
Also useful for leveling ménages, driveways etc etc. I used these
over the weekend on some of my grassland after topping to pull some of
the thatch out and try and encourage some re-growth – see pics.
Good size set, easily pulled by compact or smaller tractor, or even large
4wd quad, 4x4, Gator etc. I have been using these on my Fergy. 3 sections
mean that size/ working width could easily be reduced. Chain to attach
to towing vehicle. I like to harrow my grassland with this type of harrow,
broadcast some more grass seed on and then harrow in a different direction
to push the seed in and find it works well. Will go straight to work but
well used. Has had a few repairs in the past, full compliment of tines
but a number are loose. One joining hook missing, although not vital,
we just used a cable tie. We have been using as is, and it works fine.
All in all will make a good cheap usable tool for someone. £SOLD. |

Clam-Shell
Light Timber/ Forestry/ Muck Grab |
|||||
![]() |
|||||
Well
made, strong tool - doesn’t appear to have had a lot of use –
has just sat about. Ideal for fitting to a wide variety of machines –
such as smaller timber forwarder/ trailer, 3 tonne upwards 360 degree
excavator, smaller lorry crane, loader, forklift etc etc. Suitable for
a wide variety of uses, such as handling lighter timber/ logs/ brash/
hedge cuttings/ silage/ muck/ large stones/ rocks etc etc. Also included
are two plates that sit inside the jaws for handling loose materials,
such as sand, soil etc etc - these may need a little tidying before use.
Also with ram and mounting bracket – see pics. I have not tested
the ram, but looks fine. Has not been used for some time - pipes may need
replacing. £SOLD. |
