by Denings of Chard Tractor Mounted Saw Bench |
|||||
|
|||||
Small tractor mounted saw bench manufactured by the well known Denings of Chard. Well built tool – save a lot of back breaking work with a chainsaw getting logs ready for fire! Beauty of having a bench mounted on the tractor is that you can take it anywhere, rather than having to take the wood to the saw bench. Nice compact size means that it would easily by driven by a Fordson Dexta, MF35 or even a Grey Fergy, compact tractor etc etc. Mounted on Cat 1 or 2 linkage. Triple vee-belt drive and lever to tighten belts for use. Four adjustable feet. Complete with planking guide and roller. Approx 2ft diameter blade. Complete with full PTO shaft. Blade turns over nicely and looks fine, bearings also feel fine. May benefit from a sharpen in the future - although perfectly usable as is. Doesn’t appear to have had a hard life or done a lot of work. Last used on the back of MF 35 relatively recently. Frame has had a couple of repairs in the past – but nothing major. Please note that this does not comply with HSE legislation!! £SOLD. |

Well built transport box. Approx size overall width 71”, 29” deep (with tailgate closed), 22.5” high at the front and 12” high at the rear. Complete with hinged removable tailgate. This is easily removed by 2 pins. Ideally suited to compact tractors, as well as larger tractors. Cat 1 linkage pins. A transport box is about the most useful item you can have around a small holding or farm yard. Ideal for moving hay and straw, livestock feed, manure, logs, grass mowing, garden waste etc etc. Unlike some of the modern transport boxes available, which are not very deep, this one is suitable for moving conventional bales (with the tailgate removed). Ready for work or play, and is in good condition. Has had a recent coat of paint, and has not been used since. It has only been put on the tractor for the pictures. Nice solid condition and ready for work. Tail gate is a little knocked about but perfectly usable! £185. |

Bale spike to fit MF40 power loader, based on a MF muck fork, which has been reversed and had a long spike added. Could easily be turned back into muck fork. Will also fit MF80 loaders with a single tipping ram. Could easily be altered to fit other loaders, has plates where other loader brackets have previously been fitted. 28in main spike. 24in lower spike (loose) to stop bale spinning. Large
Tractor Mounted Transport/ Link/ Carry Box |
|||||
|
|||||
Extremely
well built transport box – you will not find a commercially manufactured
box that comes anywhere near to the quality/ strength of this one. Approx
size overall width 7ft 7in, 4ft 2in deep (with tailgate closed), 3ft 8in
high at the front and 23in high at the rear. Complete with hinged tailgate,
this fold down to form a ramp (see pics), to allow you to wheel in wheel
barrow/ sack barrow/ mower etc etc. Tail gate could also be used to increase
load area with the addition of two small pieces of chain. Ideally suited
vintage (such as Fordson Major, MF 135 etc etc)/ larger tractors. Make
no mistake, this is a big box! Cat 2 linkage pins using sleeves, so could
easily be reduced to cat 1 pins. A transport box is about the most useful
item you can have around a small holding or farm yard. Ideal for moving
hay and straw, livestock feed, manure, logs, grass mowing, garden waste
etc etc. Could have seats added and be used for tractor road runs. Unlike
many of the modern transport boxes available, which are not very deep,
this one is suitable for moving a good stack of conventional bales. In
excellent condition. Hasn’t had much use at all since manufacture.
Would look very smart with a top coat in your tractors colours. £POA. |

Ferguson/
Massey Ferguson MF Post Hole Borer |
|||||
|
|||||
| Genuine
original Ferguson /MF Implement – I am not sure whether it is a
Fergy or an early MF example. Complete with 12in auger and original PTO
shaft with slip clutch. Last used on MF 35, so has the larger 1 3/8 PTO
end – would be easy to change to 1 1/8 Fergy size. Unusual implement
– would be a good addition to a Fergy/ MF collection. Bearings all
feel fine and all turns as it should, but we haven’t tested. Has
had a plate welded between the arms to improve stability – could
easily be removed. The tractor ends require a little straightening. Would
go to work as is. With a little time, this could easily be restored for
taking to shows behind a restored Fergy. £SOLD. |
|||||
9ft
Mounted Chain/ Grass Harrows |
|||||
|
|||||
Approx 9ft working width, overall width a little more at 9ft 7in. Ideal for smaller tractors – we have had it hitched to our Fergy and it handled it fine. Excellent for rejuvenating grassland, pulling out dead thatch, moss etc and generally improving the quality of the grass. Also brilliant for pulling high spots into lows (where those horses have been over the winter!) and leveling ground. Very versatile bit of kit, could also be used for harrowing in seed, fertiliser, leveling ménages, driveways, etc, etc. By being mounted, harrow is easily moved between fields and can work right into the field corners – something you cannot do with a trailed set. Excellent, strong frame. Will go straight to work – we will be using as soon as the ground dries out a little (if it hasn’t been sold!). Chains are all in generally excellent order. Points show minimal wear and are all 2.5-3in long. £POA. |

Massey
Ferguson MF40 Tractor Loader for MF35/ 135 |
|||||
IMAGE TO FOLLOW |
|||||
Very
popular loader with brackets to fit either MF35 or MF135. Ideal for use
around the small holding, stables or farm. With brackets, booms, bucket,
relatively new pipework, parking stands, some pins and some bolts. Only
bucket included, but other attachments often come up. Parking stands mean
that it is easy to remove the loader from the tractor when not in use.
Could easily be altered to fit other MF tractors or even other makes.
Booms have point for tipping ram, to turn into a power loader. All in
generally good order but does need a tidy. Brackets all look fine, and
don’t show much wear at all. Bucket has some very small holes –
perfectly usable as is, alternatively would be straight forward to patch.
The bucket is one from a MF35 loader, that has been modified to fit. The
ends of the arms need new clips fitting (parts of the old ones are included).
I have not tested the rams but all looks fine. £220. |
|||||
Bale Spike for Tractor Loader |
|||||
|
|||||
Single
bale spike to fit power loader with approx 43in between the arms. Could
easily be altered to fit other loaders, handlers, or even three point
linkage etc. Excellent 42in spike which is tight and no play. Could easily
have additional spikes added. In generally very good order. The bottom
loader brakets have had the odd knock – but perfectly usable as
is. I can strap to a pallet for delivery by PalletLine. Please contact
me with your postcode for a quote. £100. |

Wessex
Three Leg Ripper/ Subsoiler/ Culitvator |
|||||
|
|||||
Compact
chisel plough/ subsoiler complete with three removable legs. Ideal for
compact or lower HP tractor, I have even used on the back of my Fergy.
Cat 1 Linkage, bottom pins are bolted on and can easily be changed or
reversed. The pins have been borrowed for another tool – new ones
will be fitted before collection. Three top link points to alter angle
of work. Very good reversible points and legs, all showing minimal wear.
Points have not been reversed yet. Suitable for a wide variety of uses,
including working land instead of ploughing, breaking down ploughed land,
helping drainage, breaking up hard pan caused by tramlines etc, making
small trenches, pulling out roots - I have used one of these on my Fergy
to clear hedge roots out of a new flowerbed and raise deep wheelings on
one of our paddocks. Ideal for a landscape gardener, as it is easy to
take off trailer or out of pick-up by hand, and is ideal for working small
areas of land/ gardens, prior to turfing etc. Very flexible tool comes
complete with three legs, which clamp onto the main frame, so working
width can be altered or used with 1 or 2 legs. Part of a Wessex designed
system in which you could fit pallet forks, single deep subsoiler leg,
ripper tines (as included), cultivator legs etc to the same main frame.
Whilst the other attachments are not included in the auction, I am sure
they could be sourced/ others modified to fit. Excellent condition, has
sat around more than been used – will look very smart with a coat
of paint! I can strap to a pallet for collection by Pallet Line –
please contact me with your postcode for a quote. £SOLD. |

Lely
Tractor Mounted Fertiliser Spreader |
|||||
![]() |
|||||
Smaller
size single disc spreader, ideal for use on smaller fields and smaller
tractors- excellent size for grassland and pony paddocks. In good used
condition, all sound and doesn’t appear to have had a lot of use.
Metal hopper in good condition, this can be removed for cleaning (clip
may just need freeing off). Could be used for spreading fertiliser, or
a wide variety of seed, including grass seed or even salt. Controls are
easy to operate and reach from the tractor seat – I will put a new
section of rope on for the trip mechanism before the end of the auction.
Cat 1 and 2 linkage, and ideal for most smaller tractors such as Fergy,
MF 35, MF135, Fordsons or compact tractors with linkage. Very well built
tool – unlike many of the cheaper smaller spreaders available today.
Complete with full PTO shaft. Rear drawbar – tow your harrows behind
and cover two jobs in one pass! All in all a good usable tool. Hasn’t
been used for a while. Bearings etc all feel fine, turns over fine, but
I have not tested. PTO will need freeing off as wont slide at the moment.
As it has sat for a while the adjuster will need freeing off (noting major)
and all mechanisms a good oil. The ends of some of the fins have got a
little thin - not enough to effect operation. I can strap to a pallet
for collection via Pallet Line – please contact me with your postcode
for a quote. £SOLD. |

Ferguson MF 723 Early Plough |
|||||
|
|||||
This
is an unusual version of the MF plough as it has a Ferguson badge –
which suggests that this was a very early version of this type of plough.
The serial number also suggests this, which appears to be: NOO6001. Some
traces of red and grey paint visible. Is for restoration – requires
two new boards and a new point, as well as general tidying. I acquired
this some time ago with the good intention of restoring it, however, I
have not had time to get around to it. £SOLD. |

Bucket
to fit David Brown DB Loader |
|||||
|
|||||
Believed
to be made by David Brown for their trip loaders. Overall width 4ft –
so will fit 4ft loader arms. May fit other makes of loaders. Could easily
be altered to fit power loaders. Would benefit from some plating –
see pics – could be used as is, but would be straight forward to
repair as all straight edges. I can send via Pallet Line – please
contact me with your postcode for a quote. £110. |

8ft
Rib/ Cambridge Grass Roll |
|||||
|
|||||
Rib roll perfect for use with smaller hp tractor - We have used behind our Fergy. I would have thought you’d need approx 20hp to two this roll. Approx working width 8ft. Overall width a little more. Good heavy roll with approx 20in diameter rings. Perfect for paddocks, grassland or even on ménages. I this type of roll my grassland and much prefer them to a flat roll, they do a very good job of leveling lumps and bumps, particularly in the gateways and rolling in grass seed etc. Also very good for breaking down ploughed land. Has hinged pin drawbar, but it would be straightforward to make rigid or add a 50mm ball hitch for use behind other vehicles. Has rear drawbar to tow harrows behind and do two jobs in one pass, this is what we have done in the past! Roll is in good used order and will go straight to work. Rings have some play in them, could be spaced out, but perfectly usable as is. Drawbar has had some repairs in the past but has been well done – see pics. £185. |

Ransomes
2 Leg Subsoiler/ Ripper |
|||||
|
|||||
Two
leg light duty subsoiler/ ripper/ cultivator - believed to be an old Ransomes
based tool. The legs clamp on the frame so their position can be altered
to suit tractor. Ready to go to work. Previously used for lifting/ breaking
up tramlines down to approx 12in. Ideal for a wide variety of uses including
breaking down small areas of ploughed land, helping drainage, breaking
up hard pan caused by tramlines etc, making small trenches, pulling out
roots - I have used a similar (smaller) tool on my Fergy to clear hedge
roots out of a new flowerbed and raise deep wheelings on one of our paddocks.
Ideal for lower HP tractors – was previously used behind a 2wd MF.
Currently Cat II linkage, but Cat I pins could easily be added. Complete
with two new and unused spare bolt on points and bottom link pins. In
generally good used order. Plenty of life left in current points. One
leg has had a repair towards the top a long time ago – but this
has been carried out well and shouldn’t prove a problem in the future.
Main frame has a slight bow in it – see pics, no cracks –
just a result of many years of work. Perfectly usable as is, alternatively
frame could be strengthened and other/ more legs added. £175. |

8ft
6in Seed/ Grass Harrows |
|||||
![]() |
|||||
Approx
working width 8ft 6in. Ideal for grassland, I use a set and find they
do a much better job than chain harrows. Brilliant for leveling and rejuvenating
grassland where horses/ cattle have been, spreading droppings, pulling
out moss, dead thatch etc etc. Also useful for leveling ménages,
driveways etc etc. Good size set, easily pulled by a compact tractor upwards
or even a large 4wd quad, 4x4, Gator etc. 3 sections mean that size/ working
width could easily be reduced. Complete with pommel tree and good length
of tow chain. I like to harrow my grassland with this type of harrow,
broadcast some more grass seed on and then harrow in a different direction
to push the seed in and find it works well. Will go straight to work.
Good used condition - plenty of life left. If they don’t sell, it
is likely we will hang onto them as a spare set for use on our grassland.
I also have an 8ft roll available, which the harrows can be towed behind.
We find towing the harrows behind the roll works well and is an excellent
way of doing two jobs in one pass. £SOLD. |

Snowdozer Forklift Mounted Blade/ Pusher/ Grader |
|||||
![]() |
|||||
Well
made simple tool by Glasdon, called the Snowdozer. Designed for clearing
snow from car parks, drives, roads ect etc. But would also be ideal as
yard scraper, grader blade, leveling field gateways, ménages, sand
schools etc, making and leveling farm tracks etc etc. Working width approx
5ft 9in, height approx 17.5in. Hard plastic blade is approx 3/4in thick,
and is reversible. Blade is angled 25 degrees to move material. Fits on
the pallet tines of any loader, forklift or telehandler. Has two screws
to grip tines (these will just need freeing off as hasn’t been used
for a while). Good used condition – appears to have sat about more
than it has been used. Further details and spares readily available from
the manufacturer: www.glasdon.com.
